This house was lovely. Very clean! We had everything that we needed. We loved watching the birds, saw some Javelinas and his morning 6 deer were looking over the fence at us. You had everything down to a science, this morning I needed a needle and thread and there it was in the drawer. Friendly neighbors.

This home was built by the owners parents. It was designed thoughtfully, bringing nice touches throughout. It feels like a home and is clearly loved and enjoyed by the family. It is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The home is spacious and airy. The kitchen is spacious, light and easy to work in. We enjoy the lovely watercolors and other pieces of art. It is a pleasure to be in a family home and not merely a rental property. We have enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return. January 2016

Jan 2014 Sabino Vista Retreat____Booked this house for a week in Tucson. It was in a great location for the golf courses we wanted to play, had lots of space for each of us and fit our needs perfect. The outside bbq was used to cook dinner a few nights and vcr collection was used to watch a few classics. Overall a nice house for this type of rental.

2012 -Sabino Vista Retreat - We sure have enjoyed our stay in Tucson. I really liked the floor plan and the furnishings are comfortable. Your parents did good and I can understand why your keeping it in the family. We especially enjoyed the watercolors. We enjoyed our meal at Chaco's. Be sure to tell future house guests with pets about the dog park at Udall park and walking along the Wash. The closest access to the wash with parking is on Pantano Road. Simon loved his time here too.

-Sabino Vista Retreat- My girlfriend and I live in the city. It was wonderful to come to a warm open house and relax. We spent a lot of time in the backyard looking up at the mountains and enjoying the quiet. We made sure to the spend an hour before dark with a favorite beverage admiring the spectacular sunsets paying attention to the sky and the changing color of the mountains. We cooked most of our dinners to take be home at sunset. The kitchen was large, easy to cook in and had all the utensils and cookware we needed. While we spent time in the back garden we also loved the breakfast nook and living room. The high speed WIFI internet made it easy to do some work or just read the newspaper from home. Direct TV gave us plenty of viewing options. I would highly recommend this home.

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay in this roomy three bedroom house on a large lot in a quiet and neat neighborhood. The kitchen was bright, big and well equipped with a cozy breakfast nook. Beautiful mountain views from the nook and backyard. The living/dining room, equipped with flat screen TV has very comfy couches and chairs. Master suite (with big soaker tub) is on opposite sides of the general living space from the other bedrooms, creating a fair amount of privacy in the evening hours. Also, early risers can stomp around in the kitchen and nook without waking everyone else. The large garage made for great parking and storage of our large SUVs and bikes. This house doesn't feel like a rental, decorated with owners personal touches. Perfectly maintained community tennis courts and pool is a five minute walk. Homeowners Assoc. had changed the key, we called in and had a new key in an hour. Excellent access to Sabino Canyon, Saguaro NP, and Catalina Hwy for outi

2006 Sabino Vista Retreat __I spent a week vacationing in this home with my family and friends (including 4 children ages 12, 8, 7 and 4) and loved it! There was plenty of space to spread out, and we cooked and ate like kings. We grilled and watched the spectacular Arizona sunset from the back patio every evening. It felt like a deeply relaxing place to be. And though we loved exploring the Sabino Canyon, and watching the kids play in the pool, our favorite memories are our time at the house, playing sardines in the cavernous closets, and resting together from the busyness of life. I am SO glad to see this place is still available to rent, and can't wait to get back there soon!

-Sabino Vista Retreat- We miss Sabino Canyon. It was so peaceful. I think the landscape is so beautiful and I adore seeing javelina walking around! The plants are SO different than the east. I've come to know many of them by now. You're landscaper is fabulous by the way. Your yard always looks fantastic. The house was very comfortable. One important factor for us was the high-speed internet access, which was flawless and easy to set up. The location was perfect and the views from the back yard stunning. Great access to hiking, restaurants and shopping. The community pool was perfect for cooling off and exercise. During walks around the neighborhood in the early morning or evening lots of wildlife was observable. Even from the windows there were lots of birds and critters to see while cleaning up from breakfast. We were lucky enough to stay during an eclipse and had a memorable dinner on the back patio while watching the show in the sky! We really enjoyed the house and I even enjoy

2011 -Sabino Vista Retreat - We have stayed at this wonderful home four times in the past two years, and it feels like a second home. The house is located in a wonderful quiet neighborhood with beautifully landscaped homes. Although the property has many wonderful features, our favorite is the spacious patio and yard with its beautiful view of the mountains. We enjoy the wildlife we have seen, including a roadrunner and a Coopers hawk that perched on the patio wall. There is a private recreation center and a 6-mile walking trail nearby. Sabino Canyon is a few miles away. The desert climate is a great contrast to our Seattle environment, and we look forward to our visits. We strongly recommend this clean, well-maintained property. Our Guests Say It Best! "Sabino Vista Retreat was a perfect place to recover from hip surgery (2009). All rooms are on one level and easily accessible through a wide hallway. The bath is well equipped with walk in shower, grab bars, and raised toilet. In addition to having these features for someone recovering from surgery, the house is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with views of the mountains and desert all around. The back patio is a pleasing place to sit in the morning to read or simply listen to and or watch the birds. We recently moved to Tucson and had need for a rental house for 6 weeks. We were so happy that we could rent our "home away from home" for that time. It was just as we had remembered it, fully equipped, clean and well maintained. After hours of house hunting it was our refuge for the evening and nights. Same view, same quiet neighborhood, and handy to shopping." Peggy and Dick A. - Tucson, AZ (transplants from Wyoming), 2011.

Ed K. Sabino Vista Retreat - The home and the neighborhood were absolutely outstanding. It helped to make a very difficult transition go smoother. Thanks again! ED K.
